Urban Organic

One Hanson Place
Brooklyn, New York

The blending of cultures, families, ethnicities, tastes and styles is one of
the most pleasurable parts of my job.
Here we had a turn-of-the-century gilded bank, set in Brooklyn. A bride with a love of organic, clean design and a groom with middle-eastern heritage whose culture we helped incorporate into the wedding day.

Baskets of berried plants, glass dishes of olives, radishes and hand-twisted bread sticks gave this grand space a comfortable, welcoming feel.

Earthy, organic flowers, branchy fall leaves and a knowing urbanity mark the tone of this autumn Brooklyn wedding.

A tired flower girl makes for a sweet photo opportunity while waiting for the ceremony to begin.

The ceremony is marked on one side with erstwhile teller walls; it’s little windows seem made to hold votive candles.

We designed a simple but lush letterpress invitation in forest green. All calligraphy is elegant and lettered by hand.

The bank’s reception ledge holds the escort cards in the round and looked positively woodland with a scattering of leaves.

Guests from around the world left love notes in our gilded, personalized guest book.

Proving that great lighting transforms a space, the long banquet tables look magical from the balcony.

The endless tabletop landscape is ever-changing, with a mix of glassware, tin, baskets, and family-style sharing dishes.
