Destination Elegance

As a designer based in Palm Beach I always enjoy collaborating with Claudia. Planning a destination wedding can be challenging; Claudia’s accommodating personality along with our compatibility allow the brides to have complete confidence. Claudia is a consummate professional. – Bill Beers, Floral Designer

The original inspiration for this event was Palm Beach nautical. When the bride changed design directions, I worked closely with the floral designer to give the couple the elegant wedding they decided upon.

Even the bride’s maids had matching robes before getting ready!

A destination wedding requires us to be well-prepared and to always be ready to lend a hand, or two.

The bridal party wore Wedding Library gowns, and the bright pink worked well with the bouquets, the surrounding flowers and the hot climate.

The bridal party wore Wedding Library gowns, and the bright pink worked well with the bouquets, the surrounding flowers and the hot climate. I arranged for trolleys to bring the bridal party to and from the church.

The bright colors remained for cocktails then became more subdued for dinner, where petal pink and gold were folded into the color scheme.

Light pink cherry blossoms and smaller bright bouquets worked well with the fitted petal pink dupioni cloths and gold-rimmed glasses and chargers.

Navy menu cards with white ink “popped” at the table. Hand lettered names allowed the menu cards to double as place cards, a Wedding Library hallmark.

The bride’s friend created the monogram, which I carried onto the cake, adding gold double-faced satin ribbon sourced in New York. The Wedding Library invitations are classic, and the navy and gold ink and edging let you know this isn’t going to be an ordinary affair.

The custom-laid black and white dance floor seems especially festive, and the crowd certainly appreciated it!

As the bride and groom get ready to leave our team hands out extra long sparklers to send them on their way.
