The wedding world has few honors.  We have no Oscars, no Pulitzers, no Olympic golds to aspire to.  What we do have is the appreciation and friendship from our clients, peers, vendors, employees and editors who often, and always memorably, thank us, befriend us and honor us with their acknowledgement of our dedication and love of our craft.  But recently, Martha Stewart Weddings began to “round up” the best in each wedding vendor category, and publish lists of top vendors.  As lists of “Top Bakers” and “Top Photographers” are published, I carefully peruse the choices, link to the national vendors whom I am not familiar with, congratulate my many friends who are included and appreciate the talent that’s spread across the country, producing amazing work.

This week, Martha Stewart Weddings 20th Anniversary Issue is published.  I am included in the country’s top 63 planners, and I am very grateful.  Thank you for this acknowledgement of the 15 years my team and I have been producing weddings, and for the hundreds of weddings we’ve worked on and helped to make “picture perfect”.  What a way to end 2014!
