I recently had the pleasure of designing and hosting the launch party for Christofle’s newly launched gift registry at the stunning, newly renovated St. Regis, New York. I felt very lucky to have access to all of Christofle’s treasures, and decided right away to create a table with Andree Putman’s Vertigo collection. I’ve long been a fan of her interiors and product design; being able to use her sterling and china collection was a treat!
Because my design was not strictly for a client or for a wedding, I could go a little wild and pursue this non-conventional cotton branch design that I’m sharing here.
The luscious white balls of cotton and woodland creatures mirrored the clean Putman design and circular patterns on the glassware and china used.
Special thanks to Christofle for inviting me to design this party; St. Regis for hosting a lovely tea, Elan Artists for lovely live music, Karen Hill photography and Design Corral for the event invitations for the Wedding Library. And thank you to my team for helping to put it all together flawlessly!
